LPU has the biggest hostels in India they have a variety of accommodation available. From budget freindly rooms to the premium ones they have apartments, hostels, dormitories. Based on your budget. You can opt for A/C and Non A/C room. All these hostel rooms are very well maintained and kept in a hygienic condition and all amenities are provided nearby to the students. I had visited my friend once in her hostel room and she was staying in a 4- seater hostel room. They were given 4 beds, 4 fans, 4 chairs, 4 study tables, and a separate almirah compartment for each student. And the bathroom was shared by all 4 students. Hi Sameeksha! The residential facility of LPU is like 'A Home away from Home'. Privacy, budget, location, and facilities all play a huge part in the way we choose our accommodation. While each of the different options has its benefits. We should also note that while every Hostel, Apartment is different. Basically, the majority of the time you get what you pay for. LPU Hostels always provide reasonably good value for money. You also have the chance to meet a lot of other international students or students from 29 different states because Hostels are generally well known for being social. LPU residential Facilities are indeed exceptionally well organized and maintained. First The hostel administration here is very cooperative and caring. Hostel residents are permitted to keep Electrical Kettles, Electrical Irons, Steamer, Laptop, mobile charger, shaving set, trimmer, hair straightener, and hairdryer. Basic essentials are already provided to students as per seater like table, chair, Almirah, etc. Apartments can feel like a home away from home when you are stepping outside your comfort zone. Having a homely base to come back to each day makes a huge difference to happiness. Kitchen facilities are given in apartments and allow students to cook with ingredients picked up from local markets. For apartment rooms with pantries, students may also use induction plates for cooking food in addition to gadgets mentioned for hostels. Well to my experience, With an ultra-modern lush green sprawling campus at the national highway near Jalandhar, LPU's infrastructure is considered one of the biggest and best in the world. I am a passout from LPU and have profoundly utilized my time here in shaping my personality along with self-analysis. Unlike other universities, rules and regulations are quite strict here. From academics to extra-curricular activities, thorough support is given by our mentors/seniors, professors and management. As per my knowledge, Lovely Professional University has around more than 2000 faculty members in the university. The university has experienced, specialised and well-qualified faculty members. Some of the faculty members are from IITs, NITs, IIITs, Iims etc. Faculty members are highly qualified, most of the faculty members have done their Ph.D. and others are pursuing, They have at least minimum of 5 years of experience and ample amount of knowledge, both theoretical and practical knowledge. They are cooperative and whenever you need their help they are ready to help you out. Professors of LPU are renowned for their friendly, open door approach. They bring their passion and enthusiasm for teaching into the classroom providing an intimate, interactive, personalized approach to learning The faculty members are invited by the International Universities for the seminars and conferences of International level. Research papers are published by the Faculty members. Faculty is involved in research and Patents are filed by the different faculty departments also. The faculty recruited by the university are only either experienced or an alumni of NIT's or IIT's, Iims Teaching mode is English, thus students who come from across India will be comfortable. The management is student friendly and helps out every one in need. The best part at LPU is that the feedback of students are frequently taken and considered I. e if they are facing any problem with any professor or not liking the way he teaches then they can report it to head of dept who reports the same to head of school and finally the teacher gets replaced. So no need to worry about faculty member or professors at LPU. Thank you!

Following amenities are provided by LPU in a Two-seater room (For both Boys/Girls Hostels) Attached Washroom Two Iron B.Ed Two Study Table Two Plastic Chair Two Almirah one Geyser 1 AC/ 1 Air Cooler (As Applicable) A standard range of free electricity Units per Individual Apart from this privacy, budget, location, and facilities all play a huge part in the way we choose our accommodation. Hello, Sameeksha Kapoor. Being alumni of LPU. I would love to answer this question. LPU is a place where a person can learn many things. The main thing I have learned is management and discipline. I have stayed at the hostel and those were the best days of my life one student should live once into hostels. I have stayed in 3 seater hostels. LPU have a variety of hostels like apartments, Hostels, Dormitories. 4 seater hostel is equal to them just a seat is extra. Well if we talk about the services. They give the same services to all the hostelers. All students get access to the open gym. The general store or grocery store is also provided by LPU. If we talk about room services then in 4 seater room they provide separate bathroom and toilet will be shared by all the 4 students. 4 B.Ed and 4 chairs, 4 fans, 4 tables. These all furniture will be provided to the students' mess service depends upon the student whether he wants to take the mess or not. Because there are a lot of food options available inside LPU. I stayed in LPU Hostel during my Post graduation years and honestly those were the best days of my life. I made some amazing friends and had some amazing experiences. I have lived in a Flat outside Campus and inside Campus hostel too. If I had to rate between the both, The Hostel inside the campus was much better. All facilitates are provided at the Campus Hostel and you'll have the complete choice to choose the accommodation that suits you and your budget. Zero Ragging/ Zero Discrimination : Nobody is ragged at LPU, This word actually doesn't exists here. There is a complete secularism in the LPU hostel life as you will find seniors and juniors treated similarly at the Campus and even at the Hostel. So, there is no division among the students as per their academic year like other campus hostels. Students from the various ends of the country/ neighboring countries come and join LPU and lives in the same Hostel without any discrimination. Food/ Mess : Honestly I won't lie about the mess at campus, because I myself took food for the first 6 months at the hostel mess until I explored other good places but there are so many people who actually like mess. If your one of them very good and if not then fab your in my gang so, you don't have to worry at all for the food at LPU because there are like 358+ shops inside the campus providing all varieties of food from continental to south Indian and that too at very mediocre rates. Some days if you don't feel like going out you can even order at Dominoes, go to CCD, Mall, etc. Food is not at all a problem at LPU. Outdoor Games/ Indoor Games/Gym : There are so many places at Campus for out door games and as well as indoor games. Some are campus properties and some are vendor properties (game parlors) where you'll have to pay to play. Everything is fun wherever you fit in yourself. Personal Experience: Getting bored is not an option at LPU because you'll be busy with your classes for more than half of the day and other time with habits and passion if your a passion follower and If not you'll become one before you leave LPU. Here you'll find many like that! After getting free from all this then you'll barely have sometime with your hostel mates or roommates but still they will always remain an integral part of your life. You will get each and every facility inside the campuslike Study room, TV room, Saloon, Photocopy Machines, Departmental store for daily needs, Cafeteria, vending Machine (soft drinks), etc.
