As far as I know, the eligibility criteria to apply for Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) at Chandigarh University is 10+2 or its equivalent examination in any stream conducted by a recognised Board/University/Council with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or three-year Diploma in any branch with a minimum of 50% marks, just make sure you meet this criteria, and it is very easy to apply.

Yes, CUCET is compulsory for Chandigarh University admissions. The university conducts the CUCET test for both scholarships and admissions to its courses. The test is conducted for courses in the fields of Engineering, Archcitecture, Law, Pharmacy, etc. Students with valid NEET/ NATA/ JEE scores can get admission into the BOptom, BPT, BArch courses without appearing for CUCET.

Chandigarh University (CU) admissions are generally based on CUCET scores for most of the courses. Students need to appear for the test or submit scores of any other accepted exams as stated by the university. Hence, in some cases, you may get admission in CU without CUCET. The CUCET test is also a scholarship test and if you want to get the scholarship benefits offered by the university based on CUCET scores, then you will have to appear for the exam.
