So, getting a good job is another benefit of doing MBA after engineering degree. Engineers should get job experience in their field before going for MBA as this will help them analyze the corporate environment, their interests, various business & management fields. I'm also a live example of B.Tech+2 years job+MBA.

Most of the B.Tech graduates who are currently working can go for MBA in order to get higher position & salary in the job. Other trend is that some of them think about changing the field of study & go for management field. In my opinion, B.Tech graduates have higher opportunity in the field of operations, IT, product management, etc. After pursuing MBA. Thank you.

MBA is a good option after B.Tech as it generates a lot of job opportunities for an engineer in several fields related to his/her stream. Pursuing MBA from reputed college is important otherwise you may suffer for good placement. Now, it's up to you if you have interest in MBA then go for it. It will surely help you.
Good luck. -
Dear Abhijeet,
I think, doing MBA after B.Tech is really a bad idea. You should go for M.Tech, because many of the students go for MBA after B.Sc or BA. And, they have given only three years for B.Sc or BA, while in B.Tech, you have to give 4 years+1 or 2 year if you are a dropper. You can choose any of them MBA or M.Tech, but you have to give your best to grab good job. -
This is a good combination. Technical+managerial skills are in demand when it comes to Indian job scenarios. It will give you an extra edge over others.
