Hi Vishal , gaming has 2 major parts , 1 the art work ( CG assets ) & integration ( Coding & programming ) To join the game industry as a game artist , its ok if you know design principals, sketching , color theory and 3D CG asset creation ( which you can learn at any 3D animation institute ) 2nd part is integration , which involve programming & coding , if you are looking for a scope to get in to the gaming industry as a game programmer , then you need to learn the programming languages as well.

5 years agoHi Vishal, Sorry to breakout this but you can not join any gaming industry until you do not have your preowned family business setup, where you can learn and experience the practical on workstation. If you are layman and there is no god father in the gaming Industry. Then you must study and become graduate for entering into the Gaming Industry. You have chosen a right career. If you really wish to become a video game developer and a big name in the same gaming production forte. Then you can proceed with 4 years degree programme.
