JEE Mains is a 10+2 question based entrance exam. They asked questions to know your base. JEE Mains is not so typical however you need regular practices and maintain discipline regarding study. Some basic steps which genuinely help you-
1. Know very well what is JEE Mains, why you want to choose engineering field which keeps interest level up
2. Know the syllabus and pattern well
3. Start from the basic and make proper notes (key for success)
4. Cover all the topics
5. Go for some institute test series and previous year papers
6. Analyse your week point and work over that

JEE Main Exam will be conducted from 07th to 12th April 2019. So, only few days are left for the exam. For JEE Mains Exams, the best you can prepare for it is solving previous year question papers. This will give you an idea about the pattern and difficulty level of the questions. You must also take online mock tests for JEE Main Exam. This will help you increase your speed and accuracy while answering questions. Learn all the important formulas. Make a habit of making notes. Study from the best books and study materials.

As per the last round closing ranks, the cutoff ranged from 216275 to 1281371, wherein B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering was the toughest course for admission for the General category students belonging to the All India quota.
Note: Other categories, rounds, courses will have different cutoffs accordingly.
Even though the syllabus of the BCECE Mathematics is same as that of JEE Main, the difficulty level is not the same. JEE Main exam is much tougher than the BCECE exam.
