Welcome, Sashi A postgraduate psychology course called M.A. Psychology examines both human psychology and behaviour. It is focused on a deep and detailed investigation of psychology as a field. The M.A. Psychology programme lasts two years and is divided into four semesters. This course requires a graduating degree from a recognised university in any track with a minimum GPA of 50% to be eligible. There are, however, some reputable institutions that accept applicants with honours degrees in psychology or who have psychology as a graduating topic. For two years, the average tuition for an M.A. In Psychology at government-funded institutions is between INR 2,000 and INR 20,000. The tuition charge for private institutions may reach INR 2 LPA.

It is concerned with a thorough and comprehensive study of psychology as a discipline. The duration of M.A. Psychology is 2 years and is spread over four semesters. Minimum eligibility for this course is graduation degree from any stream with min. 50% from any recognised university. However, there are some reputed institutes that allow entry to the students having an honors degree in psychology or has it as a subject in the graduation. The average tuition fee of M.A. Psychology ranges from INR 2,000 to INR 20,000 for two years in Government funded colleges. For private institutes, tuition fee may be as high as INR 2 LPA. The most common route to this course goes through an entrance test.

Hello Sashi, It's very nice to see your dream of doing M.A. studying for PG is always good. If you are already employed then you can even think of doing it via distance mode from an open university like IGNOU. It has a wide range of subject to choose from and very student friendly orientation. Just download brochure cum application form, go through it to know details and start on your dreams.
