How can I take admission in LPU? Is admission based on JEE exam?

Hi, In order to take admission into B.Tech degree in LPU you need to qualify the eligibity criteria. Eligibility criteria is 60% in 10+2 with English Physics & Mathematics )+ LPUNEST For Biotechnology, Food Tech and Biomedical engineering. English Physics Chemistry and Maths/ Biology/ Biotech and rest all same For Chemical English Physics Chemistry and Mathematics and rest all same. LPU NEST cut off scores varies with different domains of B.Tech. JEE (Mains) exam score may be considered for scholarship but you need to qualify the eligibility criteria first. Scholarships are awarded to candidates based on their performance on any of the following categories: 1.1. Scholarship:Eligibility Qualification/ Qualification previous to Eligibility Qualification: The scholarship will also be offered on the basis of Eligibility qualification. For example, on the basis of performance in 10+2 for Undergraduate Programmes and Graduation for Postgraduate ProgrammesLPUNEST: (LPU National Entrance & Scholarship Test)Certain National Level Tests (like JEE Main NEET UCEED CAT MAT GATE GPAT etc. )Performance in Cultural, R&D, Co-curricular, Social Service and Bravery AwardsScholarships/ Fee Benefits for Ph.D. Scholarship Scheme for Toppers of School Education Boards 2.2. Yes, The 2020 intake is based on both JEE-Mains (80percentile plus) or LPU NEST (Qualified) if you have appeared in any of these, provided the eligibility criteria of 60% aggregate in 10+2 with Maths, Physics and English as mandatory subjects. There are some exceptions also. If you get a chance, you must chose LPU for B.Tech, with best of faculty, industry focused curriculum, extensive trainings in GIThub, Advance Excel and other MOOCs, extracurricular activities, events, internal and external hackathons and competitions, center for professional enhancement, credit transfer and international exposure options, large number of electives, open minors, guest lectures and industry interactions and finally the placements: Over 800 companies are regular campus recruiters. Microsoft Inc. has been the biggest recruiter in terms of salary offered (42 LPA) to students of LPU. There are tons of options to chose from within the discipline.
