For mechanical engineering, Chandigarh university is the best. Chandigarh University is best in comparison to any other institute. I don't know about LPU, but I recommend Chandigarh University the same for mechanical engineering, Chandigarh University has a background in IT or computer Science engineering. However, circuit engineering departments such as electronic engineering, communications engineering, electrical engineering, electrical engineering, and electrical engineering are entitled to participate in internships in this IT field. Mechanical Engineering in LPU is good, you can join in different clubs in the university and you can participate in events. You will get hands on experience.
