7 years agoAs per my idea, food technology is one of the best engineering branches to study in the present world. In general the courses offered at various institutes are similar and named as Food Science, food tech or food process engineering. Typically the course starts with food chemistry and microbiology both theory and practical. As you move on, you study about Science and technology of all the types of foods in detail like cereals, pulses, oils and fats, fruits and vegetables, animal based products, flavours, food additives. It is one of the best programmes in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of our students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies.
