Hello Himanshu,
The Bharath University in Chennai is ranked among top universities as per 2017. The reviews are not in favor of the students, means some say that it is good for placements but some complain that the placements are not better.
They also say that the faculty for some branches not better.
So, considering the reviews I will rate the university as above average.

I can talk about the automobile engineering at LPU, as I am an alumni and had friends who did this course. Automobile Engineering course mainly focuses on the management of concept development, look, research, manufacturing, operation and servicing of both on and off-road vehicles. Automobile Engineering particularly deals with the development and style of automobiles. With the advent of E-Mobility (e-Bikes, Electric car) a lot of opportunities are accessible for these graduates after completing B.Tech in Automobile Engineering. LPU is good for automobile engineering. Good placements in core company as well as software company. Other than participating different events like go kart, project expo, entertainment events like one India, one world etc. Practical based learning and valuable guest lectures also. LPU provides a lot of opportunities to each and every of the eligible students for good placement. LPU rated as 11th Best in India from Zee News Survey in Placements. They give you a very good amount of training before you go into campus placements. Try not to miss those classes they will help you in getting better placements, after all, all we need is a decent place with good exposure. I shouldn't even have to explain this one. Various major companies take part in recruitment at LPU every year, some as Volkswagon, Voltas, Anglo Eastern Ship Mgt. , Asahi India, Rockman (Hero group), Dharam Consulting, Samundra, Indo-MIM, Sandhar Technologies, JK Lakshmi Cement, Maruti, Lava, XL Dynamics, Asahi India, Cleanmax Solar, Elgi Equipments, etc. On an average, 200 MNCs visit our campus every year, placing around 2000 students every year. Packages vary from 7.9 LPA to 30lpa based on the individual skill. Apart from their placements, LPU also provides rich support to its students to focus on their entrepreneurship projects that can help the student set up their own business. Every year, lot of championships and competitions such as Go Kart are organized in the university for giving a platform to students for innovation and development. In 2019, when PM Modi visited to university for addressing Indian Science Congress "a driver less car" was deigned by the students to drop them from helipad to the main venue. Hello, whether it's Automobile or any other branch, duration for Diploma is three years after 10th board. However as per National Education Policy, once a student gets admission, after 12th board, once the students complete two years, they will be entitled to receive diploma.
