    Hello Jeevith,
    1. Most of the faculty staff is from reputed organizations with their the highest degree from various reputed institutes such as IITs, NITs, etc. Apart from that, faculty has got previous industrial experience also.
    2. The capstone project is an integral part of B.Tech programme in which students have to pick a live project based on the practical problem-based scenario (ideally from industry) and work for six months under a mentor and present a report at the end. This is beneficial to enhance your presentation skills.

    LPU is a good choice for Civil Engineering. Considering the situations under civil engineering teaching, labs, exams, amenities in the campus all are par excellent. University provides a lot of resources for the students. Placements are in LPU is as good as compared to other private colleges.
    1. The quality of teaching is very good and a lot of technical events and activities are organized at the department level by student clubs. One such student club association called The Bridge holds periodic technical events and student competitions in the department of Civil Engineering.

    Well, I can give you the answer to this question based on the feedback received from students who are known to me and are currently studying civil engineering at LPU.     It is average. Not as good as CSC or Electrical. The placements are mostly provided for other branches.

    LPU is good for any branch of engineering. As you're asking for civil, coming to study, the skillful faculty teaches you better, but placements are a little problem there.

    Lovely Professional University is a very well-known academically and revered institution in whole of North India. Good faculty and vibrant placements cell make this Institute as preferred choice of students.     Hello, LPU is the best option for Civil Engineering. Being an LPU Alumni, I can say that LPU has experienced faculty members, well-equipped labs, great infrastructure, excellent placements, complete training and placement assistance and lot more and that too at a very low fees and high scholarships. The Physical Efficiency Test (LPUPET) of LPU for the 2025 admissions into PE/sports programs was conducted in several schedules, with the latest being on August 26, 2025 (Schedule VI). For the year 2026, tentative dates start on April 16, running until August, in 6 phases. Please check the website for updates.
