Defining an average student can be very conditional here. For someone who can speak on a given topic for at least a minute with confidence and conviction, it should not be difficult for him/ her to successfully crack the GD. They don't expect you to have great content knowledge, but expect you to have a fair amount of communication skills. Having content knowledge will definitely help though. It is to be noted that the topics given for the GD, Essay writing and roleplay are very general in nature and anyone who follow national newspaper daily should be able to perform well. Hope that answers your query. All the best.

Then it will be GD round where a topic would be given to you on which you have to express yours views. PI round will be majorly based on what your resume has in it. Be ready for cross- question on checking about the things you wrote in your resume. Now Ma'am when it comes to your question that a average student can crack it or not? . My answer would be "YES".
