LPU is the only private university that has ICAR approval. LPU students got top packages from leading Agriculture companies. Students of School of Agriculture are placed in Dhanuka, HDFC Bank, Reliance retail, Syngenta, Bio SEED Nestle, Smur Agro, VLCC, Virbac, Amazon, Sanra organics and many more. The package really depends on what he can show to the recruiters that, how much he is worth or deserved. There were some students who cracked the placement and got offered 1 crore LPA, while many failed to do so. On an average the Agriculture students of LPU is offered and placed in the starting package of 5.5 TO 6 LPA (Fixed salary) while there may be cases of students getting less than that or more than that. Like I said, LPU will provide you the platform and the opportunity, but it is really you who have to go and perform on the platform being provided.

Master of Science in Agriculture can be done in different domains such as Agronomy, Horticulture (Floriculture, Fruit Science, Vegitable Science), Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry Plant Pathology, Entomology, Genetics and Plant Breeding. The major highlights of this course are :- Research Oriented On field as well as laboratory performance can be allocated to each student Students are exposed to Commercial farms (100 acres) to know-how that create an opportunity for students to engage and tone up their endurance, confidence and management skills. They were also engaged in complete cultivation practice of seasonal crops for 6 months, wherein land preparation till harvesting and marketing of the final products will be done by student to expose farming experience. Seasonal crops grown without chemicals are utilized in LPU campus such as University Cafeteria, Hostels MESS and Roof-top restaurants for healthy lifestyle.
