How is NIIT University?

Everything about my time spent at NIIT has been a pleasure. It's no surprise that their courses are comprehensive and cost-effective considering their renowned status. I recently completed their fantastic Full Stack Digital Marketing programme. Having a solid comprehension of the material has been made possible by the course's meticulous design. As part of this course, you'll learn about digital marketing fundamentals like acquiring customers and creating persons, before moving on to more in-depth topics like segmentation and content marketing. Optimization methods and social media KPIs and calendar management, as well as the alignment of content strategy with customer expectations, brand story, SEM marketing, as well as numerous strategies for sponsored and organic social media, will be discussed in detail over the following several weeks. Email marketing and A/B testing are just a few of the digital marketing tactics you'll learn about in this course. Earned media, agile marketing principles, marketing analytics, conversion rate optimization, and methodologies for attribution and testing are all topics you'll cover in this course. Hi there, I am a 3rd year student at NIIT University, from CSE department. Having spent two complete years at this university, I find myself apt to answer this question. Disclaimer: These are purely my personal views and the viewpoints of any other student at this University might differ. PROS: One of the best universities of India if you are going to enter into its CSE branch. NIIT Technologies is serving in this department since decades. One of the greenest campus you can find in any National college. Added perks- surrounded by Aravali Hills. The view outside your dorm window will mesmerize you every morning after you wake up. You will find separate fields and facilities for every sport over here. Be it TT, Badminton, Football, Cricket, Basketball, Volleyball, Lawn tennis etc. Teachers are extremely friendly and supporting. You can reach then at any point of time. You will find them eating food beside you at the mess. You can even play badminton with them (or any other sport of your wish). Why I only mentioned badminton, because I have played it with many professor. This point is actually a blessing rather than just being a pro point. Here, you will find people from all over the nation. Be it UP, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Chennai, WB, and Delhi. Name any state and you will find someone from there. In our batch, we have two students from Bhutan in CSE department. Yes, chance to get international relations. :D Cons: Mess food- 7/10. No comments. Still, having got a chance to visit mess of few other colleges, be it of my friend's or cousin’s, ours is a way better. It's always clean and you will find a variety of dishes in a week on your mess menu. But first point first, you will surely miss that homemade curry. : If you are an introvert and have a problem to adjust with people from different geographical areas, you can have an issue. Between, some see it as a pro while some find it disturbing when they can't find a single guy from their entire city (I am the only student from Kanpur in my batch). Well, it never served as a cause of trouble for me and I suggest you, change your paradigm, if in case you find it troublesome. All in all, the college life over here is pretty awesome. Time table is quite flexible (not more than 78 classes a day). Class strength is normal (around 40 students in a batch). If you are a boy, you can roam around the entire campus at any time. For girls, the night in-time is 11 PM (in many other colleges its 9 -anot

The worst. The faculty here is absolutely shit and are the ones which are degrading Indian Education System. The university had some good professors initially but they all left after completing a year. I see one professor being mentioned here a couple of times. but he's a pretty average teacher. These 1st years/2nd year students have absolutely no idea what good faculty is if they are considering him to be a genius. The university failed to retain good professors and brought in some of the worst replacements, which I assume was a cost cutting strategy. But seeing the amount of fees a student pays, I don't know where the money is going if not to bring and retain good professors.
