Petroleum engineering plays a major role in shaping the modern society by providing advanced technology to keep the supply and demand of crude oil MET at the national and at the global level. Every credible energy expert believes that the foreseeable national and global energy future, like the present, will be shaped predominantly by fossil energy. In spite of public perception, fossil fuels are, in fact, a blessing. Imagine a world without vehicles it would be life without mobility. In today world petroleum plays a very significant role and so does its study. I have personally trained and evaluated the diligence of the students of thi

Dear Pragati, LPU does not offer Petroleum Engineering but they do offer B.Tech in Chemical Engineering. My friend did B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from LPU and is now working in IOCL. Chemical Engineering is the branch of engineering which deals with the processing of raw materials to desired products on large scale with the objective of the economical and successful design of unit processes and unit operations for commercial purposes. This Department at LPU is committed to achieving excellence in these activities and evaluates the success and leadership of its programs using the highest standards of quality, innovation, & visibilit

Petroleum engineers have come a long way from just drilling a hole underground to produce oil by its natural energy, to very knowledgeable enhanced oil technology, to actually pushing oil from an injector well to a producer. These are reservoir engineering, drilling engineering, and production engineering to name a few. LPU is the best place for petroleum engineering. Being a student at LPU I can say LPU has made a good name for itself in a short span of time by working hard for its students in terms of education, faculty, placements, infrastructure, etc. It works for the overall development of its students. Its main aim is to provide

I must say Petroleum Engineering is purely centered on integrated approaches of Sciences and Engineering practices in the Oil & Gas Industry. This involves technological undertakings and emphasis of the same in the application of the concepts in Petroleum Exploration, Drilling, Production, Reservoir Engineering, Pipeline Engineering, Refinery Operations, LNG Value Chain, Petrochemicals and Natural Gas Processing. I must say that this programme is one of the best programme in LPU as Students in the petroleum engineering programme will be engaged on a holistic journey of the entire value chain of the O&G Industry beginning from the explo

There is a popular perception that since the fossil fuels are getting depleted, the scope for petroleum engineering will be less, but that's exactly the reason why the rightly trained innovative petroleum engineers are required. So, the demand for innovating, fresh graduates is immense world over. Coming to LPU, true to its core values, has recognised the paradigm shift going into the industry and upgraded its curricula accordingly in consultation with the industry. Thanks.

Although there isn't just one best course at LPU, the B.Tech CSE and its specializations (AI, ML, and Data Science) are unquestionably some of the best. Practical learning, coding culture, real-world projects, and industry experience are all major components of the course. Placements are good, and students have opportunities to pursue certifications, internships, and hackathons in addition to their coursework. In addition to CSE, LPU excels in MBA, Design, Law, and Agriculture, providing students with a wide range of career-focused options.

Hey, so for LPU's end-term exam in Physical Education, you need at least 30% marks in the end-term itself, plus an overall 40% combining continuous assessment and end-term. That's the standard across their PE programs, and they've got a cool holistic review if you hit the aggregate but miss the end-term bit—super fair way to keep things student-friendly. Attendance stays key at 75% min, which makes sense for staying active in sports stuff. LPU really nails this balance, helping folks like us push through without harsh cutoffs, way better for building real fitness skills. No wonder it's a top pick—keeps motivation high and stress lo

Hey guys, so I checked the official LPU site for the BPEd course fee, and for the first year, it's around INR1 Lacs to INR1.09 lakhs, covering tuition at INR50,000 per semester plus exam fees of about INR4,500-INR5,000 each. That's super reasonable for a top-notch programme with awesome sports facilities and scholarships up to 60% if you score well in LPUNEST—like INR96,000 off per semester for high performers. LPU really makes it accessible without compromising quality, way better value than many places I've seen. Total for two years is INR2-2.18 lakhs, but first-year payment is straightforward via UPI or whatever. If you're into ph
