If you are not able to crack NIFT, then Symbiosis Institute of Design would be a great choice. It is a good institute and has good placement record too.

LPU has the best Fashion School. I am not aware about Symbiosis. The School of Fashion Designing of Lovely Professional University is doing extraordinary works in the field of Designing. They are conducting Fashion Shows regularly for the students. It gives a great chance to the students to show their talent in front of a big audience. Prominent designers are also taking part in the events. So, surely it is a big opportunity university is providing to the students in Lpu. SID doesn't offer any short term / distance courses. The institute presently offers only full time Under- Graduate degree courses.
At the UG level, the institute offers a regular B.Des program, while a hybrid M.Des program is offered at the PG level.
Admission to both courses will be through the SEED 2026 entrance exam.
