I am not much aware of Techno India University, Kolkata but I would like to explore the options for Lovely Professional University that offers B.Tech in various programs such as CSE, EE, ECE, ME, CE, Automobile, Chemical, Aerospace, Biotechnology, etc.
Some of the major points one must consider while looking to pursue the B.tech CSE Course is as follows:
1. LPU has 600+ acres of campus in Punjab and more than 25000+ students study there among many countries.
2. A-one infrastructure- All the facilities are available on the campus. You don't need to go outside in case of any need such as food, hospital, indoor/Outdoor sports stadium, etc.
3. Highly qualified faculty. Many specializations are provided by the CSE department such as AI, ML, Cloud Computing, Data Science, etc.
4. Every year more than 90% of students placed for the CSE branch in many MNCs such Amazon, Code Nation, Infineon, etc.
5. LPU provides many scholarships for bright and innovative students. Impact Ranking 2021: LPU is ahead of all the participating IITs and NITs. It is among the only Indian universities to have scored a set in the top 200 global institutes in the Impact Ranking 2021 released by THE World University Ranking. Lovely Professional University has got the 101-200 bracket. Under the Impact Ranking, THE assesses universities against the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This is the third-ranking released in this series. This year, THE claims to have assessed 1,115 universities from 94 countries or regions.
6. From Google to Microsoft to Apple, Computer Science students of LPU are working with hundreds of leading IT giants of the world. CSE/IT students secured salary package of up to Rs 42 LPA and placement opportunities from companies like Amazon, Adobe, Bosch Engineering, VMware, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Kony India, SAP Labs, Schneider Electric India, HP India, LG Soft India, ITC Infotech, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, KPIT, Morgan Stanley, Drishti Soft Solutions, etc. Last year Tanya Arora from B.Tech CSE got 42 LPA from Microsoft.
The package really depends on what he can show to the recruiters that, how much he is worth or deserved. There were some students who cracked the placement and got offered 42 LPA, while many failed to do so.
Although you need to score at least 40% marks in the LPUNEST entrance exam to take Admission, if you will score good marks then you are able to get maximum scholarship benefit.

I don't know about Techno India University but as an alumnus of LPU, I feel proud to answer this question. I was a student in the B.Tech CSE of 2012 batch, the knowledge that I gained while my course duration has helped me a lot in shaping my career. I don't know about this University but I do know about LPU. Being alumni of LPU, I would like to answer this question. Hi,
Techno University is one of the best colleges for B.Tech in West Bengal and CSE is a good stream. You can opt for any stream in this college. The college gives good placement and the faculty here is also very good. So, you can always opt for this college.

Techno University is one of the best colleges for B.Tech in West Bengal. And CSE is a good stream. You can opt for any stream in this college. The college gives good placement and faculty here is very good. So you can always opt for this college.
