How is the placement facility at Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh?

Documents such as PGIMER nursing admit card, Birth Certificate, Class 10th and 12th marksheet, caste certificate, and disability proof, etc., are mandatory to be presented as proof of verification at the time of PGIMER nursing counselling. 

No, if you have participated in the PGIMER nursing Round 1 counselling, you will not be able to participate in round-2 counselling. Only those candidates will be able to carry forward the counselling process who did not wish to accept the seat offered in round-1. 

The PGIMER nursing exam was held in four rounds, with three rounds being conducted online and the last round being held in offline mode at the institute campus. The last round is also known as the Open round of counselling. The last round is optional; if the seats remain vacant, then only the offline open round is carried out. 

Candidates interested in applying for the PGIMER nursing programme belonging to the General category must have scored above 97.7319 marks in the exam to be eligible for applying to the institute. 

PGIMER Chandigarh charges an admission fee of INR 2200/- for the entire course for 4-year duration. In the first year, a fee of INR 800/- is charged from the admission seekers.
