    Placement Statistics of CU on the whole.

    CU had 9,124 in the engineering placement drives (batch 2023-24) and other programs.


    In 2024-25, the engineering companies that took part in the placement season are more than 240.


    Core-companies visiting on Mechanical and allied branches have been on the increase too.

    The placement of the BE course of mechanical engineering at Chandigarh University is top notch. Placement drives receive a lot of footfall from multiple companies year after year and students get selected in top companies even before the end of last semester. Companies like Energy Exempler India ltd, Yamaha India ltd, JSW steel, Saint Gobain, General electric and Royal Enfield hire students at very high packages and teh university even has special department called department of Career Planning and Development (DCPD).
