Hello Sameeksha, I passed out in 2019 from the LPU (CSE BRANCH). I had a lot of my friends who completed their MBA from LPU. As per their feedback and experience of MBA in LPU. LPU is one of the best places in the country to pursue an MBA. MBA programme comes under Mittal School of Business which is among the first 10 institutions in India to get ACBSP (USA). The highest Package in MBA last year was 21 Lacs per annum and the average package was 5 to 6 Lacs per annum. Faculty in the MBA department is well-experienced and have expert knowledge who work on skill enhancement of students. There are lots of career opportunities after MBA in different areas. The university also gives the opportunity to get real-life exposure through various training programs and an internship, which is mandatory for all. Professors go for value-based education which is something as professionals would require in their career. Guest lectures by experts and some successful people are arranged by the department to widen the scope of learning. Most of faculty members are from IIM or from elite B- Schools (India/Abroad. They have a decade of experience. The faculty is really helping. Even they helped after regular university hours for her projects. Entrepreneurship projects are an integral part of the curriculum and help establish themselves as successful entrepreneurs. The placements are tremendous and you'll get plenty of opportunities to choose from but it is your duty to maintain a capable academic record so that you can fetch a job in the best company that visits the university for recruitment. The placement in MBA at LPU is about 95% and above. Almost all batches were placed in well-known companies. Average package offered for MBA students is 4.5 LPA. Some of the leading companies (like Practo, Think and Learn, Colgate, ICICI Prudential, Tech Mahindra, Axis bank, WNS, CISCO etc. ). Recruited a good number of students from our department with the maximum package of 17 Lacs. Every year, Around 550+ companies visit for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU. And this year for batch graduating in 2019, already more than 650 placement/internship drives have been conducted till February 2019 with leading industry giants (more than 90% being MNCs). This companies are visited LPU campus for recruitment. Im a pass-out and Im placed in a decent company, while some of my friends are placed abroad, too. Industrial exposure is offered through in-house training programs.
