    Bangalore University located in India's Silicon Valley is UGC approved and has been given "A" rating by NAAC. 

    Bangalore University consists of 48 postgraduate departments, one postgraduate center in Kolar (founded in 1994–95), four university colleges, 684 affiliated colleges, as well as several other higher education and research centers and directorates. The University currently provides 50 postgraduate courses in addition to certificate and Diploma programs that are focused on employability. The University's Five-Year Integrated Biological Sciences Courses are now available.

    Bangalore University houses 45+ PG departments, one postgraduate centre at Kolar, four university colleges, and other affiliated colleges and several other Centres and Directorates of higher learning and research under its purview. Academically, the university is structured into six faculty members, namely Arts, Commerce & Management, Science, Education, Law and Engineering.  Bangalore University admission is both merit and entrance-based. Bangalore University offers a list of courses across multiple streams, such as Engineering, Science, Law, Commerce, Teaching & Education and Humanities & Social Sciences.
