CAT is not an easy exam to crack. It takes hard work and dedication to score a decent Percentile in CAT. Take some practice tests and find out your weaknesses and strengths. Once you know that, determine how much time is left for your exam. There are about 4-5 months left for CAT exam right now. So approx 100 days are left. Study at least 4-6 hours daily, each topic 1-2 days to cover about all topics in time. Do keep ample time for revision as it will ensure all your previous work is not lost in vain. All the best. Suggested study time 4-6 hours daily minimum.

number of hous never defines how scholar you are. don't count hours , set a target tto complete certain chapter or module or topic for each day . you will succeed for sure. keep revising.
and yes we often come across some news that people who can't afford extra classes or tutorials and yes the don't even have a good environment to study peacefully, but they score great marks and also become topper.
so don't count how much hours you have studied, but do count what you have really studied.
  • You need to study extensively everyday giving your full attention and decide carefully upon the proportion of time you will allot for preparation. Also practice previous papers to crack the exam with a good score.
