You have not mentioned the courses for which you are seeking admission to these universities. Both universities are reputed; the difference will be in course structure, fee, and placement rate. Both colleges offer BBA B.Sc. and B.Tech courses.
    1. The placement at Quantum University is decent, and the highest salary package offered is around Rs 18 Lacs per annum. On the other hand, the place rate at Chitkara has increased by 11% in recent years.
    2. Also, there isn't much of a difference in fees between B.Tech and B.Sc. which are roughly the same, but the B.Sc. fee is lower at quantum.

Quantum University in Roorkee has a fairly good placement record. In recent years, about 85–90% of students have been placed, with nearly 192 companies visiting the campus and around 872 job offers made. The highest salary package offered has gone up to about ₹33.5 LPA, while the average package is usually between ₹6–7 LPA, depending on the course and year. Well-known companies such as Amazon, Oracle, TCS, Capgemini, and IBM recruit from the university, which shows that students get decent job opportunities, especially in engineering and management fields.

Quantum University is generally considered a decent option for B.Tech, particularly for CSE, offering a strong focus on practical skills, industry-relevant specializations (AI/ML, Cyber Security), good infrastructure, and promising placements with high packages (up to 33.5 LPA), though averages are lower (3-8 LPA), making it a viable choice for students seeking industry-aligned education and career growth, especially if aiming for specialised IT roles.

Hi.

Not for MBBS/BDS/MD:

  • Quantum University does not offer core medical degrees like MBBS, BDS, MD, or similarly regulated allopathic medical programs.

  • If your goal is to become a licensed doctor (e.g., MBBS graduate), this is not the right place because such programs are either not offered or not recognised in the mainstream medical education system India uses for allopathic medicine, which are regulated by bodies like the National Medical Commission (NMC).

Hi.

At Quantum University (Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India), an interdisciplinary course refers to a style of study that combines learning from multiple academic fields rather than keeping you strictly within one traditional subject. This approach is built into the university's curriculum and pedagogy to prepare students for real-world problems and diverse careers that require knowledge and skills across domains.

What “Interdisciplinary” Means at Quantum University
