Hello Dear, Preparing UPSC you will find it very interesting. Do revise all the topics of History, Geography, Political Science that you have read in your school. Now come to the current affairs section. Do read some newspaper, read the important exam oriented issues. This will definitely help you to score a good mark in UPSC.

Hi,Firstly, you would require to complete your graduation from any stream you like. Along with this, you can start your coaching for UPSC from your 2nd year of graduation. In 3rd year, i.e the end of 5th semester, you can easily appear for your first attempt.

    The pattern for prelims exam:
Preliminary Examination: Time duration: 2 hours per paper.
    Paper 1
    General Studies
    100 Questions
    100*2=200 marks
    Paper 2
    CSAT
    80 Questions
    80*2.5=200 marks
    Note:
There is also negative marking i.e. 0.33 for every wrong answer.
Paper 2 is a qualifying paper .One has to get a minimum score of 66/200. (Applicable from 2015)
Hence, only Paper 1 marks count for the cutoff from 2015.
Before you start your preparation, be sure to have checked these two blogs -
1 .What were the cutoffs for Prelims, Mains and Final in 2013 & 2014?

Hi...

I need to clarify first: are you asking about admission to Chandigarh University for B.Tech/B.E, or admission to a medical/paramedical course (like B.Sc Nursing, MBBS, BPT, etc.)

The marks required and exam rules differ a lot depending on the stream.
