    Reading too fast or reading too slowly is equally problematic in the reading comprehension section of the CAT exam. The main aim is to understand the crux and answer correctly. A few tips that can help you maintain the necessary reading speed are:
    Firstly, quickly glance through the RC Sets and choose whichever one suits you.
    2. Do not read paragraphs word for word.
    3. Instead of reading sentence by sentence, try focusing on three or four lines at a time.
    4. Before reading the description, first scan the paragraph.
    5. Concentrate on improving accuracy.
    6. Use a pen to trace the paragraph or highlight whenever necessary.
