How to prepare for BITS in two months? I am doing NCERT and JEE preparation but want to give BITS exam too. Please help.

    Hi Sreom,
    You can refer to the previous questions papers of BITSAT and prepare accordingly. Also, you can take mock exams.

    Preparing for BITS is not like eating an apple but requires steady hard work with basic fundamentals clear. Since, you are preparing for JEE, I can assume that you are at a comfortable position by this time. So let me give you the insights-
    1) Questions are tricky and short unlike the lengthy questions of JEE
    2) It comprises of English and logical reasoning and believe me it will have a huge impact on the overall result so you can prepare for these sections as well which are not the part of JEE syllabus.
    3) Learn to skip the questions which you are not sure about as the questions you have to solve are 150 in 3 hours so it requires speedy

    As you are already preparing for JEE , so preparing for BITSAT wouldn't be much difficult for you. Just brush up your basics from NCERT first. Chemistry, undoubtedly is a scoring subject in BITSAT, learn all the reactions, process and especially the inorganic part. Mostly the questions are taken from NCERT books, so read it thoroughly. For maths, you can take help from Arihant Publications and Cengage. Physics can be covered from H.C. Verma and NCERT textbooks. Apart from all these, you must give BITSAT online mocks and analyze your mocks regularly. Focus on improving speed and accuracy . Be patient with all the hard work of these two

No, you cannot get admission at BITS Pilani with 60% marks. As per the eligibility criteria students must qualify Class 12 with 75% marks from the recognised board. It is mandatory for students to qualify the eligiblity criteria. The institute also accepts admission based on the entrance exams.
