    1. Application Status on GOAPS (GATE portal)

    • After logging into the GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS), you can check your application status.

    • If there is a defect, the status will show messages like “Under Scrutiny”, “Defect Found”, or “Action Required”.

    2. Email/SMS Notification

    • The GATE authorities will also send you an email and/or SMS to your registered email ID and mobile number if any correction is required.

    3. Correction Window

    • A specific defect correction window will be opened.

    • You'll have to log in to GOAPS, check the remarks given, and re-upload or correct the details before the deadline.

    If all the details mentioned in your form are correct and in order, then your application form will be accepted. Otherwise, the defects will be marked and notified to the candidate by email or SMS for rectification within a stipulated time frame.
