  • CEED 2026 qualifying cut-off for Part A is calculated using the formula µ + (σ²) = δ

µ (mu) is the average marks obtained by all candidates in Part A

σ (sigma) is the standard deviation of the marks obtained by all candidates in Part A

δ (delta) is the qualifying cut-off mark for Part A.

IIT Bombay released the cut-off marks for Part A of CEED 2024 on February 8, 2024. The cutoff for Part A exam is determined by a formula. Candidates can use the below mentioned formula to determine CEED 2024 cutoff

The formula to calculate CEED cutoff is mentioned below:

    Category Calculation for CEED Cutoff

    Open - μ + (σ⁄2) = δ

    OBC-NCL -  0.9δ

    SC/ ST/ PwD - 0.5δ

δ is the cutoff marks for shortlisted candidates in the General Category

μ and σ are the average marks and standard deviation of the distribution of marks obtained by ALL the candidates in Part-A of CEED 2022

  • The qualifying cut-off for CEED 2026 will be calculated category-wise. The formula used to calculate the cut-off is given below.
