AIIMS or AIPMT – Which is more difficult to crack?
AIIMS and AIPMT are the two most important, competitive and toughest medical exams in the country. The pattern for both the exams is quite different from each other. Which one do you think is the more difficult to crack - AIPMT or AIIMS? Shout out your views below.

Hi Everyone,
Actually AIPMT consists of two stages, i.e., preliminary and mains. One has to be well-versed with both objective and subjective. The Total number of seats are somewhere around 3000 and the total number of candidates appearing are around 4 to 5 lacs.
Whereas in AIIMS, the test is only in objective pattern and the exam's level is a little higher than AIPMT. The total number of seats are somewhere around 200 but the total number of candidates who appear are around 70,000.
Hence, the exam depends upon the candidate's personal skills. -

One who scores more than 520 marks in AIPMT (out of a total of 720 marks) may hope to get selected. AIIMS is much more difficult to crack than AIPMT because of limited number of seats and the difficulty level of questions asked in the exam. -

I think it depends on which particular institute you are targeting for e.g. if you are targeting AIIMS Delhi, it will be difficult to crack as compared to any other AIIMS institute so i think both the examinations are difficult, it just depends on which particular college you are targeting. -
Both the examinations are difficult, it only depends on your preparation and focus towards the exam, if you take it lightly you will not be able to clear any examination

Yes, definitely AIIMS is a bit tougher than AIPMT as it has minimal no. of seats.
while aipmt has around 3k seats for 5-6Lac aspirants. -

The difficulty of any examination is based on the dependency between the number of seats and the number of students applying for the same . I believe AIIMS is more tougher as compared to AIPMT
