Animation is a satisfying and lucrative profession and is attracting youngsters in droves towards it. Professionals new to this industry generally work in the capacity of junior animators in animation studios and production houses. In India, the animation sector is predicted to grow at a greater rate than the IT industry! Students can enrol in full-time or part-time animation, graphics, and multimedia courses. As alumnus of LPU, I would recommend LPU as the best option for pursuing thi

If you love to draw and can't seem to stop watching cartoons, you might consider pursuing a career as an animation artist. Professionals in this career usually enroll in an art-related Bachelor's degree programme that includes hands-on project experience. Employers generally seek to hire candidates with a strong portfolio and technical knowledge.

If you want to know about the animation career, my suggestion is to be well trained in both 2d & 3d animation. Don't join the company who offers only 8-10 thousands per month. Please search for good companies and face the interview. Always prepare a good portfolio before applying in any company.

    You are correct.
India has more than 300 animation studios, which employ over 15,000 animation professionals. The gaming industry is one of the top employers and they also pay quite well. Though entertainment through film and television is the main area of application in this profession, animation is also needed in other areas such as business, sales, engineering, education and advertising.
