the first thing you should know have is sound knowledge of current affairs. -
one should read atleast two newspapers daily thoroughtly and subscribe some magazines that provide study material. previous years papers must also be solved -
for civil exams or UPSC u need to work hard with full determination. u can join some coaching in NCR or in Delhi or nearest place to u. u need to choose the subjects properly. also u have to be aware abut least GK and updates. the competition is very tough and its rowing every day!!!!!
u need to have good aptitude lever for the competitive exam
