I am getting ECE/EE in NSUT and DTU in 2024, which should I prefer in terms of college life placements etc.?

I am a Delhi resident with a CRL of 280780 in JEE 2024 and a SC category rank of 16170. Can you recommend any other good college with a good branch I can get with this rank?

According to the Delhi Technological University Placement report 2023, the highest package offered to BTech and MTech students was INR 82.05 LPA and INR 51.03 LPA, respectively. For the Netaji Subhas University of Technology, the median package offered to B.Tech and M.Tech students during the 2023 placements was INR 17 LPA and INR 15 LPA, respectively. According to me, you should go for DTU. NSUT is acknowledged for CSE. ECE at DTU will be a better option.

What is the JEE Advanced JoSAA counselling eligibility?

Candidates should have JEE Advanced rank.
Candidates must have at least 75% aggregate marks in class 12 and SC, ST and PWD candidates must have atleast 65% marks.
Candidates must be within the category wise top 25 percentile of successful candidates of their respective class 12 boards.

If I do not get 75% in class 12 boards, but I pass the JEE Advanced exam, can I apply for JoSAA counselling?

No, your candidature will be rejected as you need to have minimum of 75% in class 12 to be eligible for admisison to the IITs, NIT, IIITs and GFTIs via the JoSAA counselling. Even if you pass JEE Advanced and JEE Main, of you do not have 75% minimum marks in class 12 boards you will no get admissions.
