I am in 12th with science stream. What is the procedure to take admission in UID after the declaration of 12th results?

The process of admission to UID for B. Des is two tier Design Aptitude & Situation Test. Based on the 1st round exam shortlisted candidates are called for Situation test to Ahmedabad. Generally the exam conducts in the month of Jan/Feb. So you have to apply at the right time. You can find the details of exam in UID's official website.

Hi A P, For being a designer in future you don't have to be from any specific educational background like Commerce, Arts or Science. Student from any educational background can take up design. The only criteria is that, you have to successfully complete your 10+2 with a minimum percentage of 50%. From a recognised educational board. And the only thing that you required to be a designer is the drawings skills and innovation in you. Because if you want to be a designer than innovative idea's are required in your mind and the same should come out on paper and pen. So without any hesitation you can take admission at UID to pursue your designers dream. The admission process is first you have to appear for DAT Exam (KU Design Aptitude Test) and after successfully clearing the that Exam and getting shortlisted you will receive proper information from the College itself that you have to visit the college for your second round that is the STPE (Situation Test & Portfolio Evaluation). So this is the overall admission process of UID after you clear your 12th exam successfully.

After completing your higher secondary exam from any recognised board with minimal 50%, you have to sit for UID's admission test. There will be 3 rounds of selection test. First round is Design aptitude test, that first round will be the written exam, UID coordinator there aptitude test centre all over in India so you can select the nearest one. If you are shortlisted for the first round, then they will call you for the second & third rounds, which will be Studio test & Portfolio evolution. If you can be qualified successfully by these exams, then you are more than eligible to take admission for your design courses at UID, the best destination for someone who wants to build the career in the field of design.
