The process of admission to UID for B. Des is two tier Design Aptitude & Situation Test. Based on the 1st round exam shortlisted candidates are called for Situation test to Ahmedabad. Hi A P, For being a designer in future you don't have to be from any specific educational background like Commerce, Arts or Science. Student from any educational background can take up design. The only criteria is that, you have to successfully complete your 10+2 with a minimum percentage of 50%. From a recognised educational board. And the only thing that you required to be a designer is the drawings skills and innovation in you. After completing your higher secondary exam from any recognised board with minimal 50%, you have to sit for UID's admission test. There will be 3 rounds of selection test. First round is Design aptitude test, that first round will be the written exam, UID coordinator there aptitude test centre all over in India so you can select the nearest one.
