    Hello!
I have my engineering from Lovely Professional University in CSE but I have many friends enrolled in Automobile and Mechanical Engineering. I was completely amazed by the designs of cars, robots and new inventions done by them. I will try to answer your question to the best of my knowledge. I can not comment anything about CU. All, I can simply say is don't just go by the name and accreditation and look in detail how much efforts the university or faculty puts in to make their students achieve their goals of their own. LPU provides with numerous opportunities in all the terms. LPU provides opportunity for numerous Live projects

Both universities are equally good as Automobile Engineering is the branch of engineering which deals with designing, manufacturing, mechanical mechanisms as well operations of automobiles. It is also an introduction to vehicle engineering which includes cars, motorcycles, trucks and buses etc. An Engineering programme that seamlessly articulates the concepts from basic Science to technology with relevant practice through lab and projects for building the problem-solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place for Design, Manufacturing, Thermal, etc. Specialisation. LPU is the right place for Engineering programmes because of the exposure provided by the university helps the students to build their career. This branch of engineering articulates the concepts from basic Science to technology with relevant practice through lab and projects for building the problem solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place where students develop competence in automobile engineering. There are continuous efforts by faculty to contribute to upliftment of student's career. LPU provides ample opportunities to the students for placements as the data shows that many big brands visit LPU to recruit stunts at goo

Comparing both, academically Chandigarh University is better. Though there are some points on which LPU stands far better than CU that are infrastructure, exposure, and modern culture what matters at the end, specifically talking about automobile engineering. Chandigarh University is better.

Chandigarh University (CU) admissions are generally based on CUCET scores for most of the courses. Students need to appear for the test or submit scores of any other accepted exams as stated by the university. Hence, in some cases, you may get admission in CU without CUCET. The CUCET test is also a scholarship test and if you want to get the scholarship benefits offered by the university based on CUCET scores, then you will have to appear for the exam.

The cutoff changes every year and we are in 2025, so you should know the cutoff for NCHMCT JEE 2025. For NCHMCT JEE 2025, the closing rank for Chandigarh University is around 11195 for the B.Sc. (Hons.) Hotel and Hospitality Management course. This number comes from the latest available round-wise data and gives a basic idea of the expected range. If we see older figures, the 2022 cutoff stayed close to 10201 as the opening rank in Round 1 and about 10382 as the closing rank in Round 2.

Yes, that's one of the main reasons. Chandigarh university's consistent performance in the QS Asia University Rankings has made it a popular choice among students.
