As you are a SC category student, you will need to score at least 250+ to get admission in IIT.

Try for marks about 200 to get into NITs as your category is SC you shall get into best IITs by cracking JEE advance. Despite of that, work as hard as you can in order to get the best you can get at the time of counselling. -
Please don't think about your category. If you keep this thing in your mind, you will not perform well in the exams. Forget about the category, prepare for your exams well.

Score at least 250+ marks to get a good college. Even if you are an SC student, there are a lot of students who will score above 300. So, it is advisable that do not set your bar low. Study for maximum marks. -
As you belong to the SC category, you don't need to score as much as others. You need to write JEE Mains in which your cut-off will be around 50-60 out of 360 and then you need to crack JEE Advanced. That is just the cut-off and to get a good college or IIT, you need to get at least 200 marks in JEE Mains.
