In IGNOU, if you fail to clear the back paper of your 6th semester, then you do not need to join from the 1st semester. You can continue with your studies and appear for the 6th semester exam in subsequent sessions. IGNOU allows students to reappear for specific exams without having to restart the entire course. You will have to reappear according to the university's guidelines for back paper reappearances, pay the fees, and get registered for the exams. It is advisable to check with your programme coordinator or log in to the official IGNOU website for specific instructions and deadlines for reappearing.
