I got 138 marks in LPU NEST. Am I eligible for aerospace engineering in LPU University?

As in this year the situation of Covid-19 is prevailing, LPU has exempted LPU NEST from majority of programmes. But for aerospace engineering the criteria is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST or In case student scored more than or equal to 90% in 10+2, or 90 percentile in JEE Mains, then LPU NEST will be exempted and candidate may apply for admission. On your LPU NEST scorecard, it should be mentioned that whether you have qualified or not based on that you can proceed. Admissions are going on, to grab the opportunity apply without any delay. You must visit the website and start your admission process before July 31st. You must have filled the seat preference form too. If you are above the cut off which is system generated, you will be offered a seat. All the best.

Dear Narain, the qualifying marks of LPU NEST is 40 percent for most of the programs. You are eligible for admission only if you qualify LPU NEST. Also there are cut offs. You need to make it to the cut off list. After that you can apply for the programme of your choice. Good Luck.

To take admission in B.Tech aerospace engineering is 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Mathematics and English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST&For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defense Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants). The programme is Designed for learners intend to design aircraft, spacecraft, satellites and missiles. In addition, these engineers test prototypes to make sure that they function according to plans. These professionals also design components and sub-assemblies for these craft like engines, air-frames, wings. As per the NIRF ranking, LPU is ranked 66th among all government and private universities. As per The Times of India ranking, LPU was at no 36. To become eligible for Aerospace Engineering you need to qualify the LPU NEST exam as per eligibility criteria. And for qualifying LPU NEST you are required to score 30-40%. .
