5 years agoIt's based on how many students applied for that branch and college. Possibly for getting is 50:50 as your JEE Main score is less. If you are From Tamil Nadu you can apply for stream 2 it maybe possible to get seat in bioinformatics. -
Admission in SASTRA for B.Tech courses are done through the following two streams.
1. Stream-1 : 70% of seats will be filled through this stream. 25% and 75% of weightage given to JEE Main and 12th marks respectively.
2. Stream-2 : Remaining 30% of seats will be filled through this stream. 100% weightage is given to 12th marks only. So for more probability, you have to apply for both of above streams.
