I have 60.1% in 12th. How are the placements at LPU?

    Hi Dear, I think companies do not consider only 12th marks while recruiting. Also, some companies do not even consider the marks obtained in the 12th class. Most of the companies at LPU focus on your current CGPA in the respective programme. There are a few companies that consider 10th, 12th marks. Well, I believe 60% marks are enough to sit in the placement drive for a number of companies. For more details, I recommend you contact your placement coordinator. Hope this helps

    Placement is something that is essential for opting for any institute and especially when it comes to B.Tech CS as the competition is getting really hefty. It becomes really essential for you to opt for a college or university that ensure good placements.     Hi there, the hustle and bustle for placement at LPU begins in the sixth semester for four-year programs and in the fifth semester for three-year programs. Right now you just concentrate on taking admission. One has to enroll for the placement classes if one wants to avail of campus recruitment drives. For each discipline, there is a definitive allocation of seats. For example, CSE students are categorized as product-based companies (120 seats at least) and service-based companies.     Around 550+ companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU. And this year for batch graduating in 2020, already more than 650 placement/internship drives have been conducted till February 2020 with leading industry giants (more than 90% being MNCs). On average, more than 600 companies visit every year for various industry-academia activities and campus recruitment of students from LPU.
