If that university requires an entrance exam then you have to give entrance and fill the form, but nowadays, many universities are offering admission on the basis of JEE Mains rank or marks, so you have to apply for counselling of that university. Like, if u want to get any college under PTU or PU then you have to fill the online form for counselling and on the basis of your rank in JEE Mains, you will get admission. -
Yes, some colleges offer admission on the basis of their own entrance exams like VIT, SRM and many more. The Punjab Agriculture University conducts PAU entrance exam for admission to all undergraduate, PG Diploma and Ph.D programmes. It is expected that the application forms for PAU 2018 Entrance Exam will be available in both online and offline mode.
