I have attended a test to check the current status of my knowledge in aptitude. I have failed. How can I start my preparation to crack CAT?

Hi Samuel, As you have not mentioned that are into any coaching institute or preparing yourself for cat or any such exams. If you are fresh out of college or if you in the final year of your graduation, you must have not given CAT once. You need to start your preparation from the basics. The first step is to get familiar with the CAT pattern and types of question asked in the test, and gradually move towards concepts and practice questions.For those who have already prepared for CAT before and have the basic idea about the exam, preparation is about revision and practising more and more questions, taking mock tests and analysing the current preparation level and then further planning for improvement. This involves analysing your strengths and weaknesses, time management, concepts level, etc. The 5 steps you should do is 1. Understand all About CAT i.e., its patterns syllabus etc to just get a real feel of it. It needs in-depth preparation. You should start preparing for this computer-based examination at the moment you have decided to attempt for it. 2. Analyse your Strengths & Weaknesses 3. Time Management 4.Good study material 5.
