I have been slected in Jamia For BA history and in Amu for Political science and I want to prepare for UPSC which university I should prefer

Select AMU only if you got Aligarh campus. A comparison in between JMI and AMU cannot be drawn. If you choose JMI then you stay in Delhi and can take coaching from Mukherjee Nagar which is the best place but from Aligarh, it wouldn't be possible.

Core branches are good in AMU. Teaching standards are almost at par with each other. In matters of exposure, JMI is far better than AMU. Being in the capital city, JMI provides much more exposure than AMU.
