I have completed graduation but scored 42%. Can I apply for CPT exam?

7 years agoIn applying for foundation course, CA low percentage of B.Com is not considered. However, if you have scored 55% or more, then you would be eligible for directly entering the Inter-CA. -
Institute of chartered accountant changed the curriculum of CA examination from July 2017. CPT replace by CA foundation so you can apply for CA foundation course.

Yes, you can CPT with 42%. The Common Proficiency Test (CPT) is mandatory for the following:
Students who have qualified Higher Secondary examination. Candidates who posses Bachelors Degree in any discipline. Candidates who holds a Masters Degree in any discipline. Candidates who posses any professional qualification. So, as you can see, the Common Proficiency Test is mandatory for every individual willing to pursue Chartered Accountancy course and will remain so unless the proposal is approved by the union government. Candidates have to carry a printout of CA Foundation admit card and a valid photo ID. They can carry any of the following:
