As you have completed your post-graduation M.Sc in Physics, you can apply for the CSIR NET Exam. As per the required eligibility criteria, you should complete your Master's degree with minimum 55% aggregate marks. There is no age limit to appear in CSIR NET for the post of Assistant Professor. But, if you are going to appear in the CSIR NET for the award of Junior Research Fellowship the maximum age limit is 28 years. The competition level of this exam is quite higher. According the eligibility criteria of CSIR UGC NET exam, aspirant who have completed post-graduation or are enrolled in the Masters course can apply for the exam. As you have completed M.Sc, you are eligible to take the exam. As per the recent news, National Testing Agency has announced CSIR NET 2019 Notification for December session.
