You may be eligible, depending on the school board and job notification. Here's how:
General Eligibility for PGT Sociology:
Master's degree in Sociology with at least 50–55% marks (depending on board).
B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is usually mandatory.
Some schools or states accept MSW as equivalent to Sociology, especially for related social Science positions — but not always.
With an MSW:
You can apply for PGT Sociology only if the school/recruiting body recognizes MSW as a relevant subject.
