I have done B.Tech in mechanical engineering and M.Tech in advanced manufacturing systems. Am I eligible to take CBSC UGC- NET?

My profile: B.Tech-80.22% and M.Tech 89.40%.

    Yes, you can appear for NET after Masters. But the NET exam is mainly for a joining college as a professor or for further research work.

    First of all, you have to complete your Master's degree from any college and then only you will be deemed eligible to take CBSE UGC NET.

    Hello,
    Sorry, but you are not eligible for UGC NET Exam. If you want to appear in NET Exam you should first complete you Master's degree, then you can apply for UGC NET. It is requiring that, you have to do your Post Graduation first, after this you will be eligible to apply for CSIR NET Exam as well as UGC NET Exam.

No. candidate can not submit the UGC NET application form offline. It was released on the official portal at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The application form was released online on October 7. All the process of the online form including the registration, document upload, fee payment, confirmation, etc. must be completed online by visiting the official website.

The NTA released the UGC NETadmit card 2025 for the December session exam. It was released on the official portal at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The admit card is a mandatory document thata needs to be carried at the examination centre by the candidate.

The UGC NET December session exam was over on January 7. As per the students' feedback UGC NET January 2 Paper 1 was Moderate some felt that Assertion & Reasoning part was a bit difficult. Paper 1 was lengthy.
