I have got 3600 AIR in JEE and my 12th score is 87%. Can I get admission for CSE in BITS or should I select some new IIT?

It depends on your interest in the CSE stream. If you have a deep interest in CSE, BITS Pilani would be a better place to be. Otherwise, if you don't have any specific interest in the branch, I would suggest you go for IITs. In India, an IIT tag is still considered better than BITS. Choose accordingly. Best wishes. -
Hi Tanzeel, these are the few parameters like branch interest, placement statistics, location, fees, co curricular activities.
Make your decision based on above parameters and add your parameters to it. Fees in IITs are less as compared to BITS. Go through the curriculum of different branches on the respective website of the institutions and see what interests you more. -
BIT CSE is a better choice than any other new IITs. If CSE is not your favorite branch than you can choose your interested branch in old IITs. All the best.

No, you cannot get admission at BITS Pilani with 60% marks. As per the eligibility criteria students must qualify Class 12 with 75% marks from the recognised board. It is mandatory for students to qualify the eligiblity criteria. The institute also accepts admission based on the entrance exams.
