I have got 82 percentile in JEE Mains. Also 80 percent in CBSE board. Can I get admission on iem CS branch)?

Chances of getting computer Science engineering with this score is low, but you might get it in second or third round. But, you will get information technology, electronics and communications engineering in first round with this score. If you are interested in CSE only, then you should also apply for Haldia, Heritage and techno India as well. Good luck.

Hi Rajnish, Unfortunately, you cannot get any branch in IEM with this percentile. In 2018, the closing rank for CSE for JEE Mains after 3rd round was 24k. The overall cut-off was below 50k. But don't be disheartened. 80% of the total seats in IEM are allotted for admission through WBJEE rank. Hence you can easily get CSE if you secure a rank below 4k in WBJEE. Best of luck.
