I have tried for LPU admission for the year 2019 and when I see the fees on Shiksha it's around 4.48 lakhs & LPU brochure it is 6.4 lakhs.

LPU runs more than 300 different programs, which can have different fee structure. Moreover, there are scholarships also which are given on basis of the performance in qualifying examination, LPU NEST (Its eligibility & scholarship test) and some national level examinations like JEE Mains/CAT etc. , Sports scholarships, disability scholarships etc. These scholarships are also divided into three slabs for all courses, although may differ for some programs. In addition, the specific slabs of scholarships are offered in specific time frames. They get lower by each passing phase of counselling/admissions. So there may be a difference of fee as shown on Shiksha. Com and on LPU brochure. At present, the highest scholarships slabs are 20%, 25% and 35% which are applicable to most courses apart from few. But these are likely to change after August 31st. DVD.

Well, firstly there is a difference in the fee structure of the programmes so it varies from programme to programme. It is possible that the fee written is based on any of the following scholarship so you can proceed for your programme through the website of LPU. LPU believes in the fact that money should not be a constraint for a student to pursue his choice of studies. Scholarship can be availed in the various courses offered by LPU. LPU offers scholarship on the various categories :- The first and foremost category is that a student can avail the scholarship on the basis of his/her previous qualification or previous to previous qualification which should be minimum of 70 percentage. For instance if a student is applying for a Bachelors degree, LPU will be considering the 12th marks or 10th marks whichever will be higher. LPU conducts Lovely professional university national entrance and scholarship test LPU NEST on the basis of which student can enhance their scholarship. Some national level tests like JEE Mains, NATA NEET UCEED CAT XAT MAT CMAT NMAT GPAT GATE etc. Performance on the basis of sports, cultural or co-curricular activities. Board Toppers For Orphan students or person with certain disabilities Defence personnel and central armed police forces (CAPF) dependents From all the above mentioned whichever is higher that will be applicable. The fees structure depends upon the scholarship applicable, as the scholarship amount is reduced from the fee of every semester.
