I've completed B.Com with 52.93% and pursuing MA English literature. Am I eligible for UGC NET in English?

Criteria for UGC NET- Candidates who have completed their Master's degree with any discipline of a reputed institution or equivalent qualification and candidate who have secured at least 55% aggregate marks in Master's degree and 50% aggregate marks for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes, Physically Handicapped, Visually Handicapped. Candidates who have appeared or candidate who are appearing in the final year of Master's degree course and whose result is still awaited may also eligible to apply for the NET examination. Candidate's age should not be more than 28 years for Junior Research fellowship and upper age limits are applicable for reserved categories. No upper age limits are for applying the post of lectureship examination. Next announcement will be publish in the month of October in the official website of UGC as well as employment news. The candidate can fill the application forms both the online and offline mode. The application fee is 450 for general candidates. The candidate has to pay the fee through SBI Bank Challan. The challan will be available in the at the time of notification. Syllabus, exam pattern and previous year question papers are available on the official website of UGC. So, after completing the M.A. With 55% aggregate marks then you are eligible to apply for UGC NET examination.
